The Gospel of John

The Bible is a Divine Library.  The verses below come from the Gospel of John as the year progresses I will add the principles taught under each verse.  God’s story is powerful and it will transform you when you are willing.  If you really want to know the Truth God will reveal Himself to you.  Are you willing to be transformed?  You do not have to live a meaningless existence, you can have eternity right now!  Eternity is found in the person of Jesus Christ who reveals the Father to us.  John’s Gospel explains …

“The Gospel of John”

“Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.  But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. “ John 20:30-31

Are you born again?

Broken people need to be regenerated by Jesus.

Doing God’s work magnifies Him and matures His people.

Believers mature as they participate in the work of God’s harvest.

Joyfully telling others about Jesus is a privilege and magnifies #God.

Confident faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible, and receives the impossible.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” John 5:24

Jesus heals paralyzing hopelessness with life giving power.

Jesus has the authority to give life, to judge, and to receive honor.

The truth about Jesus exposes the true condition of our heart. 

“Two Signs at the Sea of Galilee” John 6:1-21

When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. But he said to them, ‘It is I; don’t be afraid.’ ”   John 6:19-20

Jesus has divine power to satisfy every need abundantly.

Jesus knows fellowship with the Father satisfies our inner being.

Jesus strengthens you to withstand the world’s pressures as you experience His constant presence.

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’ ” John 6:35

Jesus gives eternal life and true satisfaction.

Truly searching for Jesus means knowing that only He can satisfy your eternal soul.

Learning from Jesus means we recognize that spiritual life needs spiritual food and then we find true satisfaction.

Jesus is the #BreadofLife, to know and believe Him is to have eternal life.

Following #Jesus means learning to listen to His words and obey them.

Following Jesus means believing Him even when His teaching is hard (harsh).
