Thank you for visiting my page. I have launched a new decade in my life. I learned so much the last one, I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me for my sixth decade!!!!
I must share a little about myself… As you can see by the photograph I have a great side kick.
We have been married 43 years and I learn more about Wayne every day. We have three beautiful children, two great daughters-in-law, a new son-in-law, and three grandchildren. Wow, what BLESSINGS!
I love to learn. My intellect was ignited by studying the Bible in a ladies bible study. It was during this time (my third decade!) that I found out how much God loved me. So much, that He gave His Son to die in my place so that I could LIVE for Him. I also discovered God’s love letter to me… written in my language so I could understand His plan. Now how amazing is that!
I started learning, so I wanted others to discover how wonderful the Scriptures could be. I started teaching! Soon I returned to college…. I had discovered that the God of the Bible is the God of History. So what better major… HISTORY! I have many “favorite” verses…
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.”
Isaiah 46:9-10
So you can see the Bible tells me that God is the God of All Things… My desire is for everyone to know God and love His Words, while they learn about His World…
Two years (December 2017) ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I found myself in the middle of teaching the book of Romans in BSF and specifically chapter 8…. I learned that the Holy Spirit would help me move forward through my treatments, surrounding me with the prayers of His people, and above all God would be glorified. He was… as I learned a lot about what it means to be healthy. During and after chemotherapy, a lumpectomy and radiation God has moved me forward. Even though there are long term effects my desire was that I stayed above the wellness line. I began using essential oils to help me come back to life. That is where essentialswithm came into my life…. God desires us to be physically and spiritually healthy and as I walk through life in my sixties I am counting on His Presence even more…. thank you for listening to me… Grateful to have you on this journey of physical and spiritual wellness…
